Not into the cloudless sunny sky and tap dancing across the blistering hot sand? Do you find seeking out air conditioning or worse, those fans blowing strange misty air - rather annoying? The day we residents have all been waiting so patiently for since Easter came.
Autumn in Mallorca – Unforgettable experiences
By Delia Paul
Autumn in Mallorca is like a second spring and winter runs smooth and calm. From September to March, although maybe going to the beach is no longer an option, you can do endless activities on the main island of the Balearic archipelago. If you are looking for relaxation, disconnection and leisure consider coming to Mallorca outside of the summer months. Maybe you have to leave the swimsuit out of the suitcase, but just change it for some boots to walk and a good coat to go out navigating. Mallorca has much to offer in autumn and winter and these periods of the year are the perfect opportunity to get to know the island beyond its coves and paradisiacal beaches.

A particularly newsworthy event is the Mallorca Golf Week, which takes place in October: keen golfing guests can play 4 tournaments within a week. Concerts of international reputation are organized across the island, while Musica Mallorca is also always a much-anticipated annual event in Palma. With or without children, long or short excursions, walks, hikes or climbs: no matter what you are looking for, Mallorca has a wide variety of interesting circuits to offer. Against a backdrop of beautiful sea and mountain landscapes, hikes are often rewarded with fantastic views over the Tramuntana and the Ocean.
